To have your link added to our Reciprocal Links Directory firstly provide a link on your site.

Link to us: If you wish to see your link appear on this site it is very important that you first include a link to our site first. We prefer links that are not part of the usual "reciprocal Links directory" or on a page with hundreds of other links that never gets visited. We feel that we offer high quality links on highly relevant pages that only have a small number of other links on them and we would expect the same in return.

We prefer a page that has pagerank but understand that this is not the most important factor when considering link quality. Primarily we are interested in exchanging links for traffic! We prefer a page that is established and it MUST be clearly linked to from other areas of your site with a direct route from the homepage. We check all links manually but our software also spiders your site to ensure that the page on which our link appears is not orphaned (and therefore useless).

At the moment all that we require of the link text is that you hyperlink the words "Tartan Gems" to http://www.tartangems.com and surround this link with text that makes sense (ie no garbage!). We will leave it to you to decide how best to do this but may pass comment when we first view the link. However I have placed a couple of passable examples below:

Once you have the link on a suitable page please contact us at iain[at]simplytop.com with the url of our link on your site and the url on which you would like to have your link placed, together with all of your link details. When we recieve your email we will then contact you to verify your email and enter your details into our links database software before adding your link to our site. It is therefore vital that you contact us using your primary email address.
