Fashion accessories are items that are apart from the clothing but compliment the whole outfit. The simplest of outfits can be transformed intop something spectacular using only a couple of carefully chosen accessories. The ever popular little black dress can be made to sparkle with the addition of just one item of quality jewelry.
Accessories can be a full on fashion statement or an understated decoration. The ever popular handbag is still considered essential for most women. Ranges from the finest fashion houses and designers are to die for and are often copied or "bootlegged". Ok, so not everyone can afford the designer label so, for many, the replica is the only option. However, if you choose to buy a replica fashion accessory, you will find yourself in breach of the law. The International Anti Counterfeiting Coalition (IACC) buying replica is classsed as robbing.
So, if you are looking to buy a handbag it is often best to save up and buy an original. Hats and gloves are able to make the boldest of statements. A day at the races can not go without the purchase of a new hat for the occassion, small or large brimmed, they rarely fail to catch the eye. At the hieght of summer a hat seems only wearable while wearing the latest designer sunglasses!
Shoes, how could I forget shoes, possibly the most addictive of accessories, shoes are almost infamous. While a female hollywood star may admit to owning 50 or so designer handbags she usually owns hundreds of pairs of designer shoes. Even some male stars openly admit to owning hundreds of pairs of shoes. It is said that a great many women make judgements on a male based upon his shoes so, maybe, there is good reason to own so many. Me, I am a jeans and training shoe type of guy but I must admit that I do like some of the Italian designer shoes ;-)
Back to jewelry again and how can I finish an article on accessories without further mention of the ultimate in accessories. Diamonds really are a girls best friend and, used wisely, can be the main focus point of an outfit. However there are many cultures and beliefs that consider such adornments as inappropriate and jewelry is not worn. For many in the west this would be far too painful.
Other accessories include; belts, buckles, scarves, bracelets and bangles, beads and beaded jewelry, necklaces, brooches and much, much more.
